Wapusk National Park
Wapusk National Park is an 11,475 square kilometer park located right on the transition zone between the boreal forest and the tundra. The park is home to one of the biggest polar bear denning areas in the world. Most people come to the park to watch the arctic foxes, wolves, hares, caribou an d wolverine, along with over 200 different species of birds. Gaining access to the park is possible through tour operators in Churchill.
